The 14th Annual Competition and Regulation Summer School and Conference (CRESSE) will be organised from the 29th of June to the 12th of July, 2019 (Conference dates: July 5th - July 7th, 2019), the 6th CRESSE Lawyers’ Course from the 5th July to the 8th July, 2019 and the 1st CRESSE Executive Programme (CALEP) co-organized with OECD from the 6th July to the 10th July, 2019, in AMATHUS BEACH HOTEL, Rhodes, Greece.  


The CRESSE Summer School brings together many of the top European and USA economists and legal experts in Competition and Regulation, from over 25 distinguished Universities, as well as from law practices, authorities and economic consultancies (see School Faculty - Modules - Teaching Schedule). The CRESSE 2019 Summer School will take place from 29th June to 11th July, 2019.

CRESSE also offers each year a number of Advanced Short Courses in specific topics of Competition Policy.

Fellowships from CRESSE Summer School Partners

The CRESSE Lawyers' Course on "The Role of Economics in Competition Law and Practice" is taught by some of the foremost competition economists in the world, is targeted to lawyers, enforcers and judges working in competition law or any other field of law where the knowledge of economic theory is important. The 6th CRESSE Lawyers’ Course will take place from 5th July to 8th July 2019.

The CRESSE Conference on "Advances in the Analysis of Competition Policy and Regulation" will take place from July 5th to July 7th, 2019. The CRESSE 2019 Conference Keynote Speakers will be Prof. Richard Gilbert (University of California Berkeley), Prof. Robert Porter (Northwestern University, Co-Director, Center for the Study of Industrial Organization), Prof. Ariel Ezrachi (Pembroke College, University of Oxford) and Prof. Fiona Scott Morton (Yale School of Management).

 The CRESSE Executive Programme (CALEP) co-organized with OECD is a yearly executive training taught by eminent competition professors, lawyers, economists and members of the OECD secretariat. The course is tailored to be an essential professional development opportunity for Heads of competition agencies, Commissioners, Board Members and Senior Officials (Directors General and other high-level officers) of competition agencies throughout the world. A multidisciplinary approach is followed, with courses in competition economics and law and in management taught by leading experts with deep expertise and vast practical experience in competition law and its enforcement from academia, policy world and from the private and public sector. The 1st CRESSE Executive Programme (CALEP) will take place from July 6th to July 10th, 2019.
