Welcome to CRESSE

The Competition and Regulation European Summer School (CRESSE) has in the last 5 years establishing itself as the top academic summer event in the areas of Competition and Regulation Policy in Europe. Top quality instruction and excellent organisation, with a good atmosphere in beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to participate in a high quality Conference explain the very good ratings given by the participants of the five Summer School that have been organised between 2006 and 2010.

The school offers a unique opportunity for intellectual exploration in the summer. In eight distinct self-contained Modules of 8 to 16-hour duration each, it provides a comprehensive account of the most up-to-date developments in economic theory, empirical analysis and legislation in the policy areas of Competition and Regulation.

As a visiting student at CRESSE you will join a vibrant community of motivated students from all over the world and distinguished faculty as you satisfy your intellectual curiosity. Further you can earn academic credit and explore one of the most beautiful Greek resorts
. The Summer School courses have been accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the British Law Society (see School Faculty - Modules - Teaching Schedule).

A unique feature of the Summer School is the organization of an International Conference, in an area of Competition or Regulation Policy, designed to bring together top economists and legal experts from Europe, USA and other countries. The 2010 Conference was on "Advances in the Analysis of Competition Policy and Regulation" and took place on the 2nd - 4th of July.

On behalf of the Conference and School Scientific Committee and the School Faculty I invite you to examine our offerings and join one of Europe’s most stimulating academic environments for training in Competition and Regulation. We believe you will have a productive and rewarding experience.
