Professor of Economics at AUEB since 2003, he is also serving as the Chairman of its Economics Department since 2007. His research and teaching interests include Industrial Organization, Microeconomic Theory, Game Theory, Competition Policy and Regulation, Information and Learning. Among his prior faculty appointments, he has been as Associate Professor at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, USA, and a Visiting Professor of Economic and Political Sciences, INSEAD, France. He holds a B.A., Economics (1989), University of Athens, and an M.A. (1992) and a Ph.D. in Economics (1994), University of Pennsylvania, USA.
