The CRESSE – CPI Best Paper Awards

CRESSE and CPI are pleased to announce that, starting with the annual 2021 CRESSE Conference, they will collaborate in providing awards to the three best papers, selected among those submitted for presentation at the Conference, by young researchers (researchers that are within ten years from completion of their PhD). Selection will be undertaken by the Scientific Committee of CRESSE. The awards will be made during the annual Conference that will take place from July 2 to July 4, 2021 in Crete, Greece. The value of each award will be 1500 Euro.

A fourth Award will be given for the Best Paper on the Digital Economy by the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA). The value will be €1,500. The paper finalists will be selected from among those submitted to the CRESSE Scientific Committee and the winning paper will be chosen by CCIA. Please see the rules here for eligibility requirements and submission guidelines.

We welcome submissions of theoretical, policy oriented or empirical papers related to any of the main aspects of Competition Policy (dominance, collusion or mergers) or Sectoral Regulation or to issues of policy implementation and enforcement. Deadline of paper submission: March 19, 2021.
The annual CRESSE Conference is recognized as one of the top conferences in the world in Competition Policy Economics and Law. It offers an unparalleled breadth of academic research in competition and regulation, combined with topical policy discussions and insights into the most recent developments in the main jurisdictions around the world.

An additional award will be given to the most read 2021 CRESSE Antitrust Chronicle paper.
